"Everyday Balance" captures the quiet strength and resilience needed to navigate life’s constant challenges.
Crafted entirely from steel, the slender figure stands poised on the point of a triangle - a symbol of stability and precision - while holding a cube high above, representing the structured demands and responsibilities we carry each day. The sculpture speaks to the delicate act of maintaining equilibrium in an unpredictable world, blending industrial strength with human vulnerability.
Everyday Balance holds a special place in the collection as the only artwork created by Jacques Kotze, Joggie’s eldest son. A third-year Forensic Accounting student at North-West University (NWU), Jacques dedicates his university holidays to working in his father's workshop, contributing toward the cost of his studies while learning the value of craftsmanship firsthand.
